Excellent choice to finish my week in Vienna. We ordered the shrimps and the beef tartar as an entree, which were absloutely delicous as well as the two welcome plates. I ordered the schnitzel and by brother the beef, both very good. As dessert I would not miss the famous Sacher Cake which was a delight. The waiter was very friendly and very attentive. The restaurant seats ony a few tables, there was also piano playing in the background. We loved it!

Incredible food, beautifully presented, and excellent quality, all in a charming room that transports you to the Vienna of the past. The historical and welcoming atmosphere made our experience even more special. I went with my two children, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating.
The goose pâté shaped like a tornado, paired with chocolate, was nothing short of amazing—it was practically a Sachertorte made with pâté! Moreover, we were a party of five and spent 345 euros, which is nothing compared to the quality we received. I’ve paid more at the Japanese fusion restaurant Onyx, which doesn’t even come close to their level of quality.
If you visit Vienna, I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. The service was impeccable, and we absolutely loved it! Thank you!
OF COURSE THE SACHER WAS UNREAL 🥰❤️

An elegant restaurant full of history inside the famous Sacher Hotel – once a spot for the rich and famous. The décor is beautiful and feels like stepping into a classic Viennese dining room with Michelin star vibes.
We had the seafood bisque, boiled beef, and veal schnitzel, finishing with their world-famous Sacher cake. The bisque was the best I’ve had in a long time – creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. Schnitzel was excellent, crisp yet tender, while the boiled beef was just okay. Service was top-notch, five-star level, and the setting made the whole experience feel special. And yes, the cake truly lives up to the hype. Definitely recommend!

This is one of the best restaurants that I have been. You will not find a better schnitzel in Wien, better atmosphere or service which was impeccable. I cannot recommend this enough. I came to Wien for 3 days and went to the restaurant every days

This was a must do during my first visit to Vienna. I had a lovely dining experience with my family in an elegant environment. Diners were treated to a live piano performance. The beef tartare was beautifully presented and one of the best I've tasted. I wanted a native dish and so I chose the Tafelspitz. The beef was very tender and had delicious accompaniments. My family also ordered the Wiener Schnitzel and loved it. Finally we had to try the famous Sachertorte. Funny enough while this was tasty, it was our least favorite thing we ate there, but glad we tried it!

We celebrated a special occasion here and had the most spectacular time. I highly recommend the set menu with the wine pairings. The food was excellent, and the wine pairings were a great way to try different wines that we wouldn't have normally chosen. The local wines in particular were fantastic if you're interested in sampling the regional selection. The live piano music in the background made the entire experience even more memorable. 10/10, would definitely recommend!

Simply a magnificent atmosphere. We had a reservation in advance and sat by the window. While you eat, the wonderful details in the restaurant captivate you. They also offered a very delicious, chef-signed treat to start with. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The prices are a little above average, but it's worth it for this experience.
